TPMS Reset:

Steps to Reset Vauxhall Astra TPMS:

  1. Check Tire Pressure: Ensure all your tires are inflated to the manufacturer's recommended pressure. You can find the tire pressure on a label inside the driver’s door or in the owner’s manual.

  2. Start the Vehicle:Turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine (or press the "Start" button without pressing the brake on keyless start models).

  3. Access the Infotainment or Instrument Cluster Menu:Use the buttons on the steering wheel or infotainment system to navigate to the vehicle settings.Look for an option called TPMS, Tire Pressure or Tire Monitoring in the settings menu.

  4. Select the Reset Option:In the TPMS menu, select the option to Reset or Recalibrate the TPMS system. Some models will have a specific option called Tyre Learn, Set Tyre Pressure, or Store Pressure.Confirm the reset action.

  5. Drive the Vehicle:After the reset, drive the vehicle for about 10-15 minutes at a speed of 15-20 mph to allow the system to recalibrate and relearn the tire pressures.

  6. Monitor the TPMS Light:The TPMS warning light on the dashboard should turn off after the system resets. If the light remains on, double-check your tire pressure, or there may be an issue with one of the sensors.

Notes:

  • If your Vauxhall Astra does not have a manual reset option, the system may automatically recalibrate after you adjust the tire pressures and drive the vehicle for a short time.
  • Always check the owner’s manual for any model-specific instructions, as older or newer models might have slightly different procedures.
